What this website keeps, and why.
It counts its own visits so Sherri can see what people look at and which orders get started. No advertising company is involved.
Counting visits
We count visits ourselves, with no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies. Your browser keeps a random number in its own storage so a return visit can be told from a first one. With it we keep the pages you open and how long each was on screen, the balloons you put in your order, taps on the phone, email and social links, which photos you open, the kind of device you are using, and a rough location from the network — a city, never an address.
Orders you start
Anything you put in your order stays in your own browser until you send it. Sherri can see that an order was started and what was in it, so she can help if you got stuck. If you type your name, phone number or email on the request page and leave without sending, she can see those too and may reach out once. Send the request and it becomes a normal order, kept with your order.
What we never do
Sell it, share it, or use it for advertising.
Payments and email
Square handles card payments on its own pages; we never see your card number. FormSubmit relays your request to Sherri’s inbox.
Your choice
A browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal is counted for the visit only, with a throw-away number and without any contact details. To see what we have or to have it removed, call or text (317) 503-3073 or email sherrisheavenlyballoons@gmail.com, and we delete it.
How long
Visit details are kept for about three months; after that only the daily totals stay.
